Will the cap stay in place?

For most women, yes. It's sewn into the neck, so there's no separate undercap to slide back. If you have a lot of hair, wear your bun low. A high bun can push the cap back.

Is it hot?

It's a lightweight polyester-spandex knit (96/4), not cotton. Most reviewers say it keeps them cool, including customers in the UAE.

Is it see-through?

Ivory is slightly sheer on its own, because it's made to go under something. Onyx and the deeper colours aren't.

Can I take it off for wudu?

Yes. The head part slips off and back on easily, or you can reach under it.

What does shipping cost?

A flat $9.50, and free on orders over $150. Duties and tariffs are included, so there's nothing to pay at your door. We pack your order in Amman within 2–3 days, then the courier gets it to you in 5–7 days.

Can I return it?

Yes, within 30 days, unworn and unwashed. Email hello@ruuqwear.com and we'll send a prepaid label; $20 is deducted for return shipping and restocking. Exchanging for a different size or colour instead? We waive the fee. Full details in our returns policy.

How do I wash it?

Hand wash cold. Don't tumble dry or iron. Cared for this way it holds its shape for years.
